MicroDysis nanoCuvette™ is a highly specialized disposable device that is compatible with commercially available laboratory and hand-held or portable UV/Vis or fluorescence spectrophotometers. It is designed with a central microfluidic channel with embedded carboxylized single-walled carbon nantubes (SWNT) in the area of detection. The nanotubes provide a substrate for covalently attaching sensing molecules. Once the sensing molecules are attached to the carboxyl groups and a drop of sample is feed through the channel, specific binding of target materials can be measured using UV/Vis or fluorescence. • 10,000 times the binding sites for ppt sensitivity. • Fits all standard spectrophotometers.
